Dear Bill. In the short 3 years I have been visiting, I have grown very fond of you, being the kind of man who leaves a big impression. I am already missing your cheeky charm, your tales from the past and your terrible jokes!! You always asked how my mum and dad were first, however you were feeling yourself. Dear Grandad, I will always remember you for your ability to make us laugh, whether it was through silly dancing and singing at Christmas or through telling us jokes every time we visited you - even though these were often terrible or inappropriate! Nonetheless, we will miss you and the laughter that you brought to family occasions as well as the stories that you told us about your life but we will treasure them forever.
